The Business and Professional Toastmasters club meets every Friday at 12:05PM. Guests are always welcomed. Whether you're an experienced Toastmaster or you've never attended a Toastmasters meeting we invite you to join us for lunch. We promise you an enjoyable, positive experience and a fun time too.

If improved communication skills and enhanced leadership abilities are on your "Bucket" list, then we will see you Friday! Toastmasters will give you the skills and confidence you need to express yourself effectively in any situation. Whether you are a professional, student, stay-at-home parent or retired, Toastmasters is the most efficient, enjoyable and affordable way of gaining great communication skills.

Come one come all to a hands on weekly tea brewing class. Learn the simple steps to brewing a perfect, organic, all natural cup of hot or glass of iced tea any time. Do it at home, at work, on the road, literally anywhere you can get hot water (or cold water for cold brewed teas).

We will take all the mystery and angst out of tea brewing and explore the many health benefits of loose leaf and herbal teas. Find the one that is right for you with over 100 flavors and endless flavor combinations.

About the book
Blanca Montes has goals. She wants to make a difference in the world and accomplish more than her overbearing godfather or spoiled boyfriend think she’s capable of. So when Gregorio Chan, a handsome and confident new guy, shows up at her Nevada school, she is ready for a big change. Greg Chan also has goals, but they were determined centuries ago, when two star-crossed lovers took their own lives. Princess Itzac, who believed her beloved was sent to his death in battle, and Captain Popoca whose fate was forever tied to Itzac. Popoca was cursed by the gods to cycle through lives until he finds his love reincarnated. And he is now returned to the living as Greg, with one last chance to complete his love story. In 2018, Eva's Heroes asked Alamo City Arts and Alamo City Dance Company to create a sensory friendly Nutcracker that featured the incredible individuals that participate in their amazing organization. Now in our 2025 production we look forward to adding more magic with Eva's Heroes!
This abridged version of the classic tale tells the story of Clara and her sister receiving a Nutcracker on Christmas Eve! They take a magical journey through a snowy forest in to the Land of Sweets and meet many new friends along the way! Music volume and lighting are adapted to accommodate everyone! On behalf of Alamo City Arts and Alamo City Dance Company, please join us for this beautiful production as we remember that sometimes we all need a little Christmas.

Featuring a trove of cherished songs, including “Climb Ev’ry Mountain,” “My Favorite Things,” “Do-Re-Mi,” “Sixteen Going on Seventeen” and the title number, The Sound of Music won the hearts of audiences worldwide, earning five Tony Awards and five Oscars. The inspirational story, based on the memoir of Maria Augusta Trapp, follows an ebullient postulate who serves as governess to the seven children of the imperious Captain von Trapp, bringing music and joy to the household. But as the forces of Nazism take hold of Austria, Maria and the entire von Trapp family must make a moral decision.

Shows are on Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 PM, and Sundays at 3 PM. Special shows on December 13 at 2 PM and December 23 at 7 PM.

Where: Will Naylor Riverwalk Plaza at The Tobin Center (weather permitting; indoor location TBA during inclement weather).
