Join us every Saturday morning for Story Hour where are very own Ms Leslie will read to your little ones, followed by a craft activity.
Ages 3-8. Parents must stay with kiddos during Story Hour.
Pollinators provide countless ecological benefits to our world! Learn about these benefits and enjoy food made possible by these amazing insects during our Pollinator Picnic! We provide the food, and you can bring your own lawn chair or blanket to eat your picnic lunch amidst our native wildflowers. Walk away with tips on how to provide your own picnic for pollinators using native plants and watering stations.

As part of Prickly Pear Fiesta, join us at Medina River Natural Area with Latino Outdoors to create your very own Prickly Pear Flower Crowns. Learn all about the amazing state plant, the Prickly Pear Cactus, its rich history & how it greatly impacts both our cuisine and the environment.Get inspired to recreate their beautiful flowers with our DIY class families will be able create their own crown to take home. We hope to see you there!

Join us for Zine Lab Monthly to learn about zines and the basics of creating your own self-published works! This month we'll be learning how to make lotus fold zines and zines as paper fortune tellers or cootie catchers.
Craft and art supplies will be provided for use during the program, but you are also welcome to bring your own.
A zine (pronounced ZEEN) is an independently published magazine or booklet. Using provided supplies, folks can create their own artistic mini books to express themselves and tell their own stories.
Participants are welcome to donate a copy of their zine to be included in our SAPL Zine Collection which is available for public use at Central Library and showcases materials written by, about, and for our community.

Kristina Salinas presents a visual exploration of the space-both real and symbolic-between herself and her Mexican roots. Tracing her paternal lineage, Salinas journeys from San Antonio through Laredo to her ancestral home in Candela, Coahuila, collecting images that reflect her cultural identity.
The exhibition title plays on "cognitive dissonance," highlighting the tension between her life as a contemporary artist and the traditions of her family. Through this work, Salinas invites viewers to consider what is lost and gained across generations, honoring the risks and complexities of immigrant heritage.
This April, Downtown New Braunfels eatery Muck & Fuss is inviting guests to its month-long live music series in its scenic biergarten, featuring performances by local artists. Every Friday and Saturday from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., guests can kick back, sip, and enjoy live music alongside cold drinks, chef-driven bites, and a lively open-air atmosphere.
