September 4, 2025 Thirsty Thursday:
The Texas Exes Fredericksburg Chapter’s monthly Thirsty Thursday will be held on Thursday, September 4, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. at The Club at Barons CreekSide, located at 316 Goehmann Lane in Fredericksburg.

The business meeting will focus on plans for the upcoming Horns Up To YOU!! Member Appreciation Event, scheduled for Sunday, October 19, 2025. This annual event will once again feature a chili cookoff, where up to 10 members can enter and compete in an “anything goes” cookoff, with winners selected by attendees who vote for their favorite chilis. Cash prizes will be awarded to the first, second, and third place chilis. Sides, desserts, and drinks (beer, wine, tea, and water) will be provided by the Chapter. Members may sign up as cooks to compete at this meeting and more details about the event will be discussed. Other Chapter news will be shared, including introduction of the new Membership Chair, and September birthdays will be celebrated.

The Club at Barons CreekSide offers a variety of wine and beers, plus a menu of specialty appetizers and entrees. Music is scheduled at 7:00 p.m. and members are invited to stay for dinner and entertainment. All current and former students and their families and all friends of the University of Texas at Austin are encouraged to attend Thirsty Thursday, enjoy the spectacular scenery at The Club, and get your Hook ‘Em on!
