St. Mark's Episcopal Church Bookstore luncheon
The St. Mark’s Episcopal Church Bookstore will present author Bonnie Smith Whitehouse at its annual Book and Author Luncheon. The topic is “Wonder as A Spiritual Practice: How to Allow Awe and Creativity to Re-enchant Us During Difficult Times.”
Smith Whitehouse will speak about ways to encounter wonder throughout the year -- and less addicted to news cycles -- through connection to the natural world in activities such as gardening, composting, and birding. These alternatives also offer relief from personal challenges and grief.
