She Thrives is an annual event hosted by AGE of Central Texas that equips women of all ages and backgrounds and the men who support them with resources, information, and community to validate and support them as they navigate their journey through aging and caregiving. The summit is organized around three primary pillars: mental health & wellness, financial & legal health, and the experiences of caregiving. Attendees will attend in-person and virtual panel discussions with subject matter experts, connect with other women and community members, learn about community resources, and engage with local business and organizations at an in person and virtual vendor fair. The event will conclude with a dinner celebrating the belief that when women and caregivers thrive, the community thrives. All proceeds from the event will be used to provide family caregivers in Central Texas with needed support, education, and care through AGE of Central Texas. She Thrives inaugural conference is scheduled for November 9th and the dinner is scheduled for November 11th. Tickets will go on sale soon!
