The City of San Antonio Veterans Advisory Commission (VAC), Elizabeth Dole Foundation/Hidden Heroes (EDF/HH) committee, is the lead over activities associated with the city’s role supporting Military & Veteran Caregivers.

We are hosting a mini summit for military & veteran caregivers on Thursday July 20th, 2023. It will be held at the Good Samaritan Veterans Outreach & Transition Center (202 Connelly St SATX 78203) from 9AM-2PM. We will be having speakers to provide and assist the Caregivers in available resources. (Ex: Respite Care, Resume Services, VA Services and more.)

The EDF/HH committee would like to reach out and see if your station might be interested in covering this wonderful and informative military event.
