Musical Tribute to Celebrate the Special Relationship between San Antonio and Japan
A FREE concert and historical magical event celebrating the special relationship between San Antonio and Japan. The San Antonio Philharmonic and musical director Jeffrey Kahane will perform music by both Japanese and American composers. The event celebrates the conferral of the Order of the Rising Sun Award bestowed on former Mayor Henry G. Cisneros, recognizing his long-standing efforts to strengthen ties between the two nations.
A public reception will follow. Free admission.
