Midday Noels Concert Series at First Presbyterian Church of San Antonio
First Presbyterian Church in downtown San Antonio is once again hosting its free “gift to the city,” Midday Noels concert series, for three Thursdays at noon, December 5, 12 and 19. This year’s concerts will also be live-streamed at https://fpcsanantonio.org/live. “Midday Noels continues to grow in popularity each year with our downtown and surrounding communities in December, as a way to experience the true meaning of Christmas,” said Tom Dooling, Minister of Music at FPC.
This year’s concert schedule is as follows:
December 5| Seasonal Songs for Two Pianos
Featuring our own pianist, Dr. Jae Ha, and Dr. Ara Koh, member of the piano faculty at the University of the Incarnate Word. Don't miss this extraordinary two-piano showcase of their immense talent!
December 12 | Holiday Harmonies: A Choral Celebration
Our FPC Chamber Singers are thrilled to team up with the Booker T. Washington Elementary School Choir from San Antonio. Enjoy an enchanting program of seasonal choral pieces, culminating in a joyful performance of Christmas carols.
December 19 | Joyful Jingles with the Dirty River Jazz Band
Join us for their debut performance in the Midday Noel concert series. Featuring talented musicians from across San Antonio, many band members were mentored by the Jim Cullum Jazz Band. Don't miss this joyful jazz experience!
For in-person attendees, all three performances also offer choices of a $15 hot lunch or $5 “grab and go” box lunch afterwards. For more information, visit fpcsanantonio.org/music.
