Learn about the history of Chavez Ravine and Los Angeles' Dodgers Stadium, and efforts to preserve the stories of Palo Verde, La Loma, and Bishop, communities that were demolished to build the stadium. This virtual MACRI Talk features Dr. Priscilla Leiva, Associate Professor of Chicana/o and Latina/o Studies at Loyola Marymount University and the lead researcher for Chavez Ravine: An Unfinished Story, an oral history and archival collaboration that documents a long history of displacement and its aftermath in Los Angeles.
