Conservation Society of San Antonio Centennial Celebration

Conservation Society of San Antonio Centennial Celebration
The Conservation Society of San Antonio is celebrating its 100th anniversary with a presentation on the restoration of the world's most iconic cathedral, Notre--Dame de Paris. One of the most beloved monuments in the world, it was visited by more than 12 million people every year before the devasting fire in April 2019. The Conservation Society will present Michel Picaud, president of the Friends of Notre-Dame de Paris, the organization founded to support the restoration. The Cathedral is an incredible example of restoration and preservation on a global scale and echoes the work of the Conservation Society to save the architectural, natural and intangible heritage of San Antonio and South Texas.
