San Antonio is gearing up for the 2025 City Nature Challenge, a global effort to document urban wildlife and celebrate the incredible biodiversity around us. Last year, San Antonio led the nation in wildlife observations on iNaturalist, showcasing our region’s incredible biodiversity and contributing valuable data to global science.

To kick things off, we’re hosting a special event on April 25 at Phil Hardberger Park from 6 PM to 10 PM, featuring:
✔ Guided nature walks
✔ Hands-on iNaturalist training
✔ A Black Light Event to observe nocturnal insects up close
