Join us at Southside Lions Park on Saturday, November 5, 2022 from 9am-12pm to celebrate Arbor Day! Event attendees will have the opportunity to adopt a tree at our tree adoption station, chat with our Park Staff about proper tree planting and care, visit with local nature and conservation organizations, and experience a fun selection of engaging family activities. A special presentation from Last Chance Forever Birds of Prey Conservancy is on the schedule.

Arbor Day 4 SA celebrates the importance of San Antonio Urban Forest and role San Antonio Parks and Recreation’s Urban Forestry Division has in its management, enhancement, and protection. This event invites the San Antonio community to become an active stakeholder in understanding and advocating for San Antonio’s urban forest.
