In her debut children’s picture book, Gabriela Tijerina tells the story of Dulce Ramos, a little girl craving fideo soup on a rainy day. Dulce specifically wants the fideo her late Abuela used to make her but runs into trouble when she realizes she doesn’t remember her grandmother’s recipe. Will Dulce be able to recreate her favorite dish now that Abuela has passed?
