Come celebrate our 28th annual Irish Heritage Day and enjoy an afternoon packed with Irish culture, Irish music, and everything Irish! Enjoy story telling, Irish dancing, a Celtic Market offers 12 vendors with quality goods including: 19th Century Lizzy & PJ dolls (handmade!), home-baked scones & jams, Celtic embroidery, sewn leprechauns & dragons, crocheted & knitted goods, table runners and many other items for sale. Our local San Antonio Men's Garden Club will have plants & seedlings for sale (as well as enrollment applications available). The day will include a pop-up Irish Consulate, a Children's and Geneology corner, a Beleek china display, a visit with one of the few remaining DeLorean automobiles. Sit and enjoy a cup of tea and a sandwich or a cup of Irish stew. Visit with members of the San Antoino Harp & Shamrock Society and the SA Gaelic Athletic Club, and a demo of Celtic Hurling in the adjacent park. The day will end with a drawing for fantastic items! The event is free, family friendly and free parking near by.
