TPR Presents: Brahms

As part of the city-wide Brahms Festivalin 2013, Texas Public Radio invites members to TPR Presents: Brahms at 7 p.m. on  Tuesday, January 29, at Tripoint, 3233 N. St. Mary’s, Suite 102.

The event begins with a special preview performance of Love Triangle by SOLI Chamber Ensemble and Ballet San Antonio. Love Triangleexplores the legendary love affair between Brahms and Clara Schumann through music and dance.

The performance will be followed by a TPR Cinema screening of the 1947 film Song of Love, starring Katharine Hepburn, Paul Henreid and Robert Walker.

TPR Presents is a benefit of Texas Public Radio membership. A $10 donation is suggested for non-members. Popcorn, soft drinks and bottled water will be provided, and the Tripoint Cafe will be open until 9 p.m., offering a variety of menu items for purchase.

  • Advanced reservations are now closed for tonight's event; however, there are a limited number of seats available at the door.
