Melissa Lucio

There are seven women on Texas' death row. And they are being ministered to by an order of Catholic nuns. The two groups found a bond and connection. The story is told by Lawrence Wright in his book, "Redemption: Faith, Justice, and Sisterhood on Death Row." The book challenges perceptions of crime and punishment.

Melissa Lucio's family, attorneys, the Cameron County District Attorney and now a county judge say she should be exonerated from a 2008 murder charge.
