Centro San Antonio, a nonprofit that is a booster for downtown and receives city funding to manage things like the River Walk recently delivered a privately funded study on the feasibility of a downtown AAA baseball stadium. The San Antonio Express-News has been trying to get a hold of the study, but efforts through Centro and the City have been rebuffed.

Centro says the study includes details of their deal to bring AAA ball here that a competitor would like to know and possibly use against them. They also believe - according to statements to the newspaper - that because it was privately funded, it didn't need to be released.  The Express-News says it's time to see what the city is considering on a project that could cost tens of millions of tax dollars.

*We did invite Centro San Antonio on the program, they declined. They did say they continue to work with the city on the project.
