The Source: Assumptions About How We Learn Are Wrong

Cramming for that big exam? Your note taking probably didn't help you learn the material, neither will your all-nighter studying. Many of the underlying assumptions we have about learning are not standing up to testing.

Robert Bjork is a leader in the area of researching how humans learn and he argues that much of what we thought we knew about learning is incorrect. Bjork was in San Antonio for Trinity University Distinguished Lecture Series.
