The Source: Being A Go-Getter Can Mean More Work Instead Of Reward

We are told that we live in a meritocracy and  that hard work is rewarded in our society. The slackers - moochers - back stabbers and fakers will be kicked to the curb.

But is that really how office politics works?

No - not according to Christy Koval, The author of a study that was published in Journal of Personality and Social Psychology.
 
She says the go getters - get punished.
