The City of San Antonio is making strides to address high-speed internet and the big gap in who has internet access and who doesn't, commonly called the digital divide.

  Progress on efforts to secure Google Fiber, a city-run network linking major institutions, and the city is getting help from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, which will expand high-speed internet into public housing
