San Antonio City Hall

In the first segment:

A flurry of accusations from conservatives have been launched at the City of San Antonio's proposed expansion of its anti-discrimination ordinance, one of which says that the passage could be Anti-Christian.

The claims have been called ludicrous and unfounded by supporters and District 1 City Councilman Diego Bernal, who originally proposed the expansion.

We talk with Justin Butterfield, an attorney at the Liberty Institute, about why they are considering a lawsuit if the ordinance passes. We also talk with CAUSA (community Alliance for a United San Antonio) Co-Chair Dan Graney on why he thinks these claims are just scare tactics.

In the second segment:

The decline of the bee population has been well documented and has everyone from farmers to scientists concerned. A new study from the University of Maryland documents a link between pesticides and fungicides and the colony collapse that has been destroying bees across the country.

We talk with researcher Dennis vanEngelsdorp from the University of Maryland about his new study.
