One of the biggest races on the November ballot is for Texas Attorney General. The two main candidates are Republican Ken Paxton and Democrat Sam Houston. State Senator Paxton has been running for the office under the dark cloud that the Travis County District Attorney’s office might reveal they are targeting him in a criminal investigation related to his previous guilty plea for securities fraud. But this week the Travis County D.A.s office announced they would delay making that decision until after the election. The D.A.s office is reacting to a complain that was filed by Texans for Public Justice, the same organization that filed the complaints against Governor Rick Perry and which led to his indictments. Craig McDonald is the director of Texans for Public Justice.
