San Antonio Rabbi Reacts To California Synagogue Shooting

A gunman killed one woman and injured multiple others Saturday at a synagogue in Poway, California during a gathering for the Jewish celebration of Passover.

An online manifesto, written by a person identifying by the same name as the man police have detained in connection with the shooting, praised mass shooters and spoke of a plan to "kill Jews." Officials are working to verify its authenticity.

The violent act occurred six months to the day since a shooting at a synagogue in Pittsburgh left eleven dead.

A local Jewish faith leader spoke with David Martin Davies on "The Source" about the latest shooting and the rising threat of anti-Semitic violence.

Guest: Rabbi Chaim Block, executive director and senior rabbi at the Chabad Center for Jewish Life and Learning in San Antonio
