Worth Repeating: Shirley Leaves An Abusive Relationship

Pablo Navarro

Shirley Parodi found the strength to leave an abusive relationship. After two years of mistreatment, Shirley realized that her current circumstances did not have to remain in her future.

One key moment signifies the breaking point. Shirley’s landlord encouraged her to leave her mercurial violent boyfriend. His invitation to talk it out, to illuminate her circumstances, led her to take a magnifying glass to her life and relationship.
