Hills Tells Us A Short Story About A Title That Is Too Long

Parish Photography

Hills Snyder is a San Antonio artist and writer.  In this tale, he takes us back in time...first 30 years, then 10 more. He goes back to Austin and then to Southeast Asia. A chance encounter with another artist leads to this fragmented and visceral narrative.

This story was recorded at the March 6, 2018 edition of Worth Repeating, with the theme "As Luck Would Have It." Follow Worth Repeating on Twitter @WRepeating or connect with us via email worthrepeating@tpr.org.

Paul served at Texas Public Radio from 2011 to 2025, most recently leading the Accountability Desk.
