Funeral arrangements have been set for this weekend for San Antonio Police Detective Benjamin Marconi.
He was fatally shot Sunday as he sat in his patrol car after stopping a drive for a routine traffic stop.
Marconi was a 20-year veteran of the police department. He was 50. His survivors include two adult children.
Visitation will take place from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday, November 27th at Porter Loring on I-35 at McCullough (1101 McCullough). A rosary will follow.
The officer’s funeral service will be at 11 a.m Monday at Community Bible Church, 2477 Loop 1604. There will be a reception immediately after the service. It is open to the public.
