Alamo Heights ISD Superintendent Opens Up About Bullying

Alamo Heights Independent School District

Alamo Heights ISD is revealing it expelled a student for bullying another student in October. It's apparently in relation to a student who committed suicide last week.

Superintendent Kevin Brown released a "community response" Monday talking about the investigation into the bullying of David Molak.

Brown says he feels awful about Molak's death because he'd known the teen since kindergarten. He also says he knows about two bullying incidents, one which happened at school and the other which happened off campus. He thinks more may have happened, but doesn't know.

Brown is promising to work with San Antonio police as they look into Molak's death. The teen was buried last Friday after being found dead January 4th. Molak's story gained worldwide attention after his brothers posted an emotional anti-bullying plea on Facebook.
