The Alamo Bowl it taking place this Saturday, but events are also taking place before the game.
The TCU Horned Frogs and the Oregon Ducks arrived in San Antonio earlier this week. Fans of both teams have also been trickling in every day.
To get everybody into the spirit, a pep rally on the River Walk will take place Thursday afternoon. It will begin at 5:00 at the Arneson River Theatre. The head coaches, football players, bands and cheerleaders from the two schools will show their colors.
Then on Saturday before the game, fans can participate in pregame festivities in historic Sunset Station. The Valero Alamo Bowl Fan Zone includes a variety of interactive games that encourage fan participation and challenge their football skills and agility. The free event begins at noon and continues until kickoff at 5:45 in the Alamodome.
