With continued growth in student participation over the years, the San Antonio River Authority is proud to recognize and encourage young photographers through this featured category.

Winners will be announced prior to a reception at the Witte Museum in Fall 2026. More details will be given to all finalists.

Come one come all to a hands on weekly tea brewing class. Learn the simple steps to brewing a perfect, organic, all natural cup of hot or glass of iced tea any time. Do it at home, at work, on the road, literally anywhere you can get hot water (or cold water for cold brewed teas).

We will take all the mystery and angst out of tea brewing and explore the many health benefits of loose leaf and herbal teas. Find the one that is right for you with over 100 flavors and endless flavor combinations.

This April, Downtown New Braunfels eatery Muck & Fuss is inviting guests to its month-long live music series in its scenic biergarten, featuring performances by local artists. Every Friday and Saturday from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., guests can kick back, sip, and enjoy live music alongside cold drinks, chef-driven bites, and a lively open-air atmosphere.

Based in San Antonio, The Aerium is a premier aerial arts studio dedicated to training and performance in silks, rope, lyra, trapeze, and more. This annual showcase celebrates the dedication, creativity, and athleticism of our students as they take the stage in a professionally produced theater experience.

Set at the Jo Long Theater, the evening features dynamic choreography, stunning aerial feats, and powerful performances that blend circus technique with expressive movement.

Whether you're supporting a performer or discovering aerial arts for the first time, this is a unique night of live entertainment that inspires and amazes.

Catch the Fun with River Rodeo!
A community-wide fishing challenge hosted by the San Antonio River Authority and San Antonio River Foundation in partnership with Texas Parks and Wildlife Department and Fin Addict Angler Foundation. The event invites anglers tolog their catches, compete on live leaderboards, win prizes, and support real fisheries science while enjoying outdoor river adventures.

River Rodeo combines outdoor recreation with citizen science by allowing anglers to log species, size, and general location data to support fisheries research and river management. Participants can track progress on live leaderboards, compete in multiple categories, and remain eligible for prizes and raffles throughout the challenge.

The Devils River Run and Ride for HOPE includes our Marathon, Half Marathon run/ruck and 5K run/walk/hike as well as an Endurance Gravel Bicycle, and Mountain Bicycle Races across the beautiful, rugged West Texas wilderness to benefit Brooke’s Blossoming Hope for Childhood Cancer Foundation, a 501c3 nonprofit that serves children battling cancer worldwide.
