San Antonio’s premier and longest-running Day of the Dead celebration, Muertos Fest at Hemisfair, returns for its 13th year with a vibrant, two-day festival – FREE to the public on Saturday, October 25, and Sunday, October 26. Named one of the “7 Best Fall Festivals in the USA” by National Geographic and featured on the 12th season of the Food Channel’s Carnival Eats and CBS Saturday Morning, Muertos Fest blends traditional Día de los Muertos elements with a curated mix of local art, food, live music, and entertainment. The event includes a multi-stage lineup of live performances, dance and poetry; the largest open altar exhibition in San Antonio; Muertos Market is an arts curated market featuring original Day of the Dead crafts and artwork from local artisans; and enhanced processions of drum and dance, workshops, children’s programming and more.

This year, we’re partnering with Daisy Cares and expanding our festival grounds to the San Antonio Food Bank to bring even more space, more activities, and more love to go around. Adoption perks:
All adoptions include spay/neuter, vaccinations, training support, microchip, free custom pet tags, and more. The first 100 adoptions will receive special prizes.

Early Access:
Start the fun before the crowds with our $25 Early Access Family Pass (good for 2 adults + children under 18). Enjoy first pick of adoptable pets, priority parking, and a few extra surprises. Limited to first 100 guests.

We’re ready to make Dogtober 2025 our biggest adoption event yet. Admission is free and all families are welcome. Let’s find loving homes for hundreds of pets—together.

Join us at the New Braunfels Airport for a night of amazing music in support of a great cause. Comal Conservation is hosting its second Keep it Country Music Jam and this time we've partnered up with Toddcoe Aviation to help us take the event to new heights.
This year's line up includes: "Owen Temple", "Matt Kirk and the Güeyfarers" and "The Billie Jeans". If you’re lucky enough to snag a VIP ticket, you’ll enjoy a special acoustic set by Dallas Burrow at the sponsor reception before the show.
On top of the music, there’ll be a raffle with some great prizes, a live auction, food trucks serving up the best bites, and of course, a fully stocked bar.
Every ticket supports Comal Conservation in preserving Comal County's natural beauty.
