Tails on the Trail is a dog-friendly 1K/3K fun run along Boerne’s Cibolo Creek trail, beginning at The Watershed at the Main Plaza. It’s an easy, feel-good way to spend a Saturday morning with your dog and the community.

This is a fun run in the truest sense of the word. There’s no pressure, no pacing, and no “right” way to do it. Walk it, jog it, sniff all of the smells or let your dog lead the way. Bring one dog or all your dogs. Come with family, meet friends there, or just show up as you are. It all works.

Hosted by Hill Country Animal League, Tails on the Trail also supports affordable spay/neuter and wellness care for pets in our region. Every registration helps HCAL continue providing high-quality veterinary care that’s accessible to local families - care made possible by community support and our mission-driven thrift store.
