San Antonio Dance Festival 2024

Celebrating Diversity, Talent, and Creativity in Dance"

This year, the two-day event is comprised of a Youth Matinee, Dance Showcase, Master Classes, and an all-star Grand Performance.

The Grand Performance features local, state, national and international dancers and companies. This is a unique event to San Antonio as it attracts critically acclaimed talent from around the world to share their artistry with the local community. Invited guests include ARCOS Dance Company, Austin, TX; Ballet de Monterrey, Monterrey, MX; Cincinnati Ballet Principal Rafael Quenedit & Soloist Katherine Ochoa, Cincinnati, OH; Hybrido, MX; and Sumangala Varun, Austin, TX; Equally important are the local artists who will grace the stage, demonstrating the depth of talent within our community. Among them are Crysta Caulkins, Felicia McBride, SumRset Movement, directed by Tanesha Payne, and San Antonio Dance Company with Guest Artists Abigail Davis and Ballet San Antonio Company members: Jay Markov, and Aiden Moss. Featuring an original composition by renowned local artist Federico Chávez-Blanco, the Grand Performance is scheduled for April 20, 2024, at 7:30 p.m. at the Carver Community Cultural Center.
