Noche Azul: Nochebuena
This month's Noche Azul Concert theme is Nochebuena, and you'll have two opportunities to join us – Saturday, December 16, at 8 PM and Sunday, December 17, at 3 PM.
The poinsettia flower, native to Mexico, is known as the Flor de Nochebuena or simply nochebuena. It was called cuetlaxochitl ("flower that withers") by Aztecs, for whom it symbolized the end of a cycle and new life.
Musicians George Prado and Aaron Prado will be accompanying Azul.
