In this inclusive program for adults, Lorena Auguste, local fashion designer, will teach the basics of how to use a sewing machine and make simple edits to start transforming your clothes. Skills will include threading a sewing machine, hemming, mending simple tears, shortening sleeves, adding lace and other ornamentation. Go ahead and bring a project you are working on for practice.
