Know More, NOMAS, No More Domestic Violence: Community Training to End Systematic Violence

Know More, NOMAS, No More Domestic Violence: Community Training to End Systematic Violence

This event promises to be both powerful and transformative, featuring a series of dynamic training sessions led by nationally renowned speaker and consultant Mark Wynn, alongside an exceptional team of educators, all addressing critical issues such as domestic violence, abusive behavior, and other forms of coercive control. In addition, we will invite local youth to participate in a 3-day paid, special session on healthy relationships, presented by SAEDA (Students Against Emotional Abuse and Dating Aggression). This event, known as the “Know More, NOMAS, No More Domestic Violence. Community Training to End Systemic Violence,” will offer multiple approaches to engage participants, including youth-centered discussions, domestic violence training, and a mental health awareness campaign. These activities will run concurrently with the NOMAS 50th Golden Anniversary. As the host city, we are committed to equipping young people and the broader community with the knowledge, skills, and support necessary to foster respectful, non-violent relationships and inspire lasting change.
