If ever there was a time to be uplifted by songs and poems celebrating peace, justice, and hope, it’s now. The Joint Effort Coffee House invites the community to an unforgettable night filled with acoustic music, inspiring poetry, delicious food, and warm camaraderie.
This cherished event, hosted by the Inner City Development Center, has been a beacon of creativity and connection for over 40 years under the stewardship of dedicated community leaders Patti and Rod Radle.
• 7:30 PM — Rev. Dan Harrington: Since moving to Texas in 1998, Rev. Harrington has enchanted audiences from the Kerrville Folk Festival and beyond. Now serving as Senior Pastor at Colonial Hills United Methodist Church, he continues to share his love of music and storytelling.
• 8:00 PM — Rudi Harst: A beloved singer-songwriter and performer, Rudi has been part of the Joint Effort Coffee House since its inception in the 1980s. His commitment to sharing meaningful music resonates with audiences near and far.
• 8:30 PM — Eddie Vega: The current San Antonio Poet Laureate, Eddie is a celebrated poet, storyteller, and spoken word artist dedicated to promoting literary arts and community literacy.
• 9:00 PM — Patti and Rod Radle: Founders of the Joint Effort Coffee House and long-standing volunteer directors of Inner City Development since 1971. Their passion for music and uplifting the community is the heart and soul of this enduring event.
