Intro to Yoga: Learn the Basics, Build Your Confidence at Mitchell Lake Audubon Center

Curious about yoga but not sure where to start? Our Intro to Yoga class is designed just for beginners! Whether you’ve never stepped on a mat or you’ve tried a class and felt lost, this session will help you feel confident and comfortable.

Join an amazing yoga instructor Nicole Amri, as she walks you through:
- What yoga is really about
- its purpose, benefits, and foundations
- How to properly get into 6-8 of the most common poses
- Tips to help you feel at ease and confident in any yoga class

This class is relaxed, welcoming, and beginner-friendly — no experience, flexibility, or fancy gear required. Don’t have a mat? No problem! We’ll have extras available for you to borrow. The intention for the class is to have you leave feeling more confident, informed and ready to enjoy yoga at your own pace.

Cost: $5 cash or cashapp to be paid day of.
