First launched as a pop-up exhibition in 2018 at Brick, Greater Than 40 returns to Blue Star Arts Complex’s space 136 opening January 2nd and 3rd, running through January 16. Curated by Vikky Jones and Ann Enzminger, Greater Than 40 celebrates the power, creativity, and resilience of women artists over 40, challenging the notion that artistic innovation belongs exclusively to the young. This is more than an art show; it’s a retort, a celebration, and a reminder that age is an asset, not a limitation. Featuring over 30 Texas-based women artists.
