Deutsche Weihnachtsfeier San Antonio German Christmas Celebration

The 121st San Antonio Deutsche Weihnachtsfeier. The Christmas story is told entirely in the German language using scripture, German Christmas poetry, prayers, choral and congregational singing, and instrumental music. Come and sing Stille Nacht, O Tannenbaum, and other Christmas carols in German! Words and music provided!
This traditional annual event will take place on Sunday, Dec. 13, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. at the Margarite B. Parker Chapel on the campus of Trinity University.
The Beethoven Maennerchor and the San Antonio Liederkranz choirs will perform. The celebration usually lasts 90 minutes.
Arrive early to hear Dr. David Heller’s prelude on the magnificent chapel organ (begins at 5:00 p.m.).
The annual celebration is free, family-friendly, and open to the public. No ticket required.
