Learn how to combine portrait and pattern to create unique collages! Local artist Kaldric Dow will share his artistic knowledge with participants to help them create collage art inspired by his own vibrant work. Participants will leave with their own creative work and new craft skills.

Kaldric Dow's exhibit "Collaged Heirlooms" was shown at Central Library in late 2024. His series of collages celebrated the enduring legacy of the Black Panther Party, featuring dynamic compositions that honored the strength and spirit of its members—women, men, and children alike. Each piece interwove intricate patterns and textures, symbolizing the rich cultural heritage and collective memory of the African American community.
