Bookbinding: The Slip Knot Binding
Bookbinding: The Slip Knot Binding
This month in bookbinding we explore the Slip Knot stitch - a no sew, no glue version of the Coptic stitch that uses cording to create a flip book. This class will have several components: learning how to create the Slip Knot binding, making a blank book for practice, and making (two) double sided torn paper master boards to create a decorative book.
All materials provided, along with guided instruction. No bookbinding experience needed. Participants are welcome to bring any paper they'd like to use for their books.
