This two-hour workshop will explore the history of Black Americans in Texas and the powerful impact of storytelling with poetry and spoken word. Light refreshments will be provided.

Zenobia Anderson, winner of the 2025 African Diaspora Award for her upcoming poetry collection “Mosaics of the Mother,” will share her insights and guide you in finding your own voice through poetry.
