Join the Contemporary for an artist talk with Leo Barrios as he discusses The Human Condition, a Red Dot auxiliary program. Through this collection of works, Barrios explores the conceptual nature of the human form, comparing the materiality, textures, and imperfections of wood to those of the human body.

This program will take place next door to the Contemporary’s main gallery at 1420 S. Alamo Ste. 147, building B.

The Human Condition is an auxiliary 2025 Red Dot program and will be on view October 3, 2025 – January 4, 2026. A portion of proceeds from the sale of the work will support the Contemporary at Blue Star.
