Come visit with Arboretum San Antonio as we pop into Hardberger Park. We will have a table for you to say "HI" and learn all about our vision for a tree sanctuary on our city's Southeast side. Located at the former Republic Golf Course on Southeast Military, we have secured 188 acres as a green space dedicated to trees for our community to enjoy nature. It will be a leading recreational, ecological, economic, and educational resource for residents and visitors of all ages. It will feature a 'cathedral of trees' with pedestrian and bicycle trails, a nursery to propagate native and climate-resilient trees, nature-based programming, event spaces, and public art displays. We are here to serve you - our community - and we want to hear from you. We are in the early stages of planning an arboretum that will reflect our city's diverse heritage and rich culture, and we want to hear what an arboretum means to you.
