Alonso S. Perales: Civil Rights Trailblazer Traveling Exhibit
This exhibit explores the life and legacy of Alonso S. Perales (1898-1960), a civil rights activist, public intellectual, and US diplomat. It draws from Dr. Cynthia E. Orozco's recently published biography of Perales, his first comprehensive biography, to introduce Perales to a new generation.
The exhibit will be on display from Saturday, June 29, 2024 to Saturday, October 19, 2024.
The exhibit gallery will be open Monday through Friday, 10 AM—NOON & 1 - 4 PM, or by appointment.
