Join us for a hybrid advocacy training on championing for yourself and your community during the 89th Legislative Session. This training is meant to empower Texans to use their voice for policy change and demystify the legislative process. Topics will include how a bill becomes a law, navigating TLO, tools of the trade, self-care/mental health, and advocating both in committee and behind the scenes.

Who's invited:

- System-impacted individuals (formerly incarcerated, justice-involved, or directly affected by the legal system)
- Advocacy organizations supporting criminal justice reform and reentry efforts
- Policy experts, legislators, and community leaders who can provide insights on the legislative process
- Legal professionals and activists who can guide individuals in self-advocacy

Together, we can drive reform from firsthand experience.
