The 3rd Annual Texas Mushroom Conference returns to Austin on April 12, 2025, at the Etter-Harbin Alumni Center at UT Austin for a one-of-a-kind celebration of fungi, food, and science! This family-friendly event brings together renowned scientists, authors, and industry experts to explore how mushrooms are transforming medicine, mental health, sustainability, and culinary innovation.

Enjoy engaging talks, hands-on workshops, and an interactive marketplace featuring local mushroom farms, mycology businesses, and gourmet food vendors. Special guests include Dr. Greg Fonzo and Dr. Minoj Doss from UT Austin, who will discuss the future of psychedelic-assisted therapy. Attendees can participate in mushroom cultivation workshops, foraging sessions, and sustainability talks, led by the Central Texas Mycological Society. New York Times best-selling author Eugenia Bone, will be hosting a live cooking demo on how to incorporate fungi into everyday meals. Enjoy live music at the close of the event by Austinite musicians.

With Texas home to one of the largest veteran populations, the conference also highlights the growing role of psychedelics in mental health treatment, with a portion of proceeds supporting Texans for Mental Health.
