MICHEL MARTIN, HOST:
Our co-host, Steve Inskeep, is out reporting on the road, and he sent us this voice memo.
STEVE INSKEEP, BYLINE: I'm in the back of a car - an EV, an electric vehicle, Chinese-made, in China's capital, Beijing. We're moving along the highway toward an interview. Secretary of State Antony Blinken is coming to China later this week. He is expected to meet with China's President Xi Jinping as the two countries try to manage their continued competition and their continued tensions.
MARTIN: You can listen with your smartphone, smart speaker or tune in on your radio to hear Steve's dispatches from China later this week on MORNING EDITION.
