United Airlines Announces New Charges For Overhead Bin Use
United Airlines says it will soon begin charging for use of its overhead bins.
The change comes along with the company’s new pricing tier, which will offer a new option called “basic economy.” They say that option could save customers money, with the one drawback that you’ll have to pay an extra $25 for those bags a little too big to fit under a seat.
Here & Now‘s Jeremy Hobson hears more about the new pricing from Seth Kaplan, managing partner for Airline Weekly.
