The Wittliff Collections

Both got their starts as musicians, but it was their work behind the scenes that saw them leave their own separate and lasting marks on the genre. The two died a day apart over the weekend.

A discussion with Selena's designer takes place on Sept. 25. "The Selena Effect" is on display at the Wittliff, on the campus of Texas State University, through Dec. 6.
